At the June 23rd Board meeting Superintendent Weast smacked the board members, telling them they have a time constraint, and more importantly a budget constraint. Watch it. See Dr. Weast in action. Didn’t I tell you MCPS would be a great subject for a documentary?

So what I take from this (and listening to the whole meeting) is that the school board has no real power, or he wouldn’t talk to them this way.
But aside from the systemic issues, this is just incredible. What arrogance. And with a camera on. He often mentions his Mama in interviews; I wonder if she would be proud of him if she saw this clip.
